Federal prosecutors have added sports bribery to the charges facing former NBA guard Terry Rozier, alleging that he accepted $100,000 from fixers to check himself out of a game early with an ankle injury while playing for the Hornets in 2023, allowing them to cash prop bets that he’d underperform.
They said he received only $70,000 because he recorded four rebounds before leaving.
Rozier, who the Heat waived last month, has denied the allegations, saying fixers implicated him falsely in order to receive lighter sentences.
Where do you figure this number would be if Pew Research Center asked the question this morning?
