AXS named Roku VP & Head of Marketing and Merchandising SWETA PATEL CMO. She will be based in L.A. and report to CEO BRYAN PEREZ. Patel has held leading marketing roles with Apple, Hulu, and The Walt Disney Company (AXS).
Premier League club Arsenal “parted ways” with Head of Sports Science & Performance TOM ALLEN. Allen joined Arsenal from Premier League club Aston Villa in 2017 as a sports scientist before being promoted following SHAD FORSYTH’s exit in 2022 (THE ATHLETIC, 6/29).
The Browns named RYAN GRIGSON Senior Football Advisor and promoted CHRIS COOPER to SVP/Football Administration. Grigson re-joins the organization for a third stint. Most recently, he spent four seasons with the Vikings as SVP/Player Personnel and Assistant GM. Cooper is entering his 13th season with the Browns and served as VP/Football Administration for the previous seven (Browns).
Univ. of North Dakota AD BILL CHAVES received a contract extension through the 2028-29 season. The 2026-27 season will be his ninth full season with the school (Univ. of North Dakota).
Lacrosse Canada named LORI DEGRAW CEO. DeGraw will assume the role on July 6. Through her seven years with the Canadian Olympic Committee, DeGraw has served as Chair of the Nominations Committee and Vice-Chair of the Governance and Ethics Committee (Lacrosse Canada).
