UFC President Dana White said the news that UFC and USADA were ending their partnership“wasn’t an announcement,” but a “dirty move by them.” White: “There was no announcement yesterday, that was straight-up scumbag-ism (by USADA) what happened yesterday. That will all be addressed today, not by me.” White said their lawyers will handle that issue and the “you-know-what is about to hit the fan on that one.” White said UFC would “still pay an independent company” to handle their drug-testing needs because “it’s the best way to do it.” White: “We have a standard that we’ve set here, but a lot of people are not happy with USADA. Our deal is up at the end of the year and we’re working on going in another direction, and then especially after the dirty, scumbag move that they pulled yesterday” ( “The Pat McAfee Show,” ESPN, 10/12).
