A passion for women’s sports drives Sabina Ahmed in her role with AT&T, where she oversees the company’s vast partnership portfolio, including with the WNBA as a league-level sponsor, one of its Changemakers partners and as the naming-rights sponsor of the WNBA All-Star Game since 2019. Before arriving at AT&T in 2021, Ahmed worked at Starcom Media Vest Group and Anheuser-Busch InBev’s in-house media team. By leveraging her past partnerships, she’s helped AT&T team with Capital One, Cisco and Deloitte on the Athena Pledge, a platform aimed at increasing investment, research and opportunities in women’s sports and encouraging other brands to increase their spending and support of women’s sports. — I.M-H.
