Cubs President of Business Operations Crane Kenney said there has been "good progress" on security concerns that have been the main impediment to the Cubs and Wrigley Field hosting another All-Star Game. Kenney said MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred has "basically made it very obvious -- fix your security issue, and I'm going to award you an All-Star Game." Kenney is "hopeful" that the Cubs will host an All-Star Game "soon." He added that the conversations taking place are "between the Illinois Department of Transportation, the Illinois Office of Tourism and the Chicago Department of Transportation as well as other city and state officials" (670 THE SCORE, 1/20).
