FIFA has named American Airlines as the official North American airline supplier of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the U.S. As part of the agreement, American Airlines will promote offers and opportunities in partnership with Qatar Airways around the World Cup. Celebrating its centennial anniversary next year, American Airlines is headquartered in Dallas-Fort Worth -- Dallas is one of the 16 host cities of the World Cup. With more than 2,200 daily flights to World Cup host cities currently, American is offering its AAdvantage members -- who are U.S. residents, ages 18 and over -- the opportunity to score tickets to matches through ongoing sweepstakes that kick off today. For American, this marks a significant collaboration with Qatar Airways, FIFA’s global airline partner, who will retain exclusive flight rights internationally as part of its recently renewed global partnership with FIFA through 2030 (American Airlines).
