Soccer United Marketing named ANNE WHEAT SVP/Properties & Match Business. Wheat previously served as the Event Programs Lead for Google, where she oversaw global event and experience center programs, including the Pier 57 and St. John’s Terminal. Prior to her role at Google, she served as VP/Guest Services and Special Projects at MetLife Stadium. Earlier in her career, she led Guest Services and Diamond Suite Operations for the White Sox. Soccer United Marketing is the commercial arm of MLS (MLS).

The Raiders named BRANDON HUNT VP/Player Personnel. Hunt has been with the Eagles since 2022, where he spent two years as the team’s director of scouting and was promoted to a senior role this past season (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 5/15).

The Buccaneers promoted ROB MCCARTNEY to Assistant GM and MIKE BIEHL to VP/Player Personnel. Both McCartney and Biehl held director of player personnel positions (NBCSPORTS.COM, 3/14).

The Senators named Ontario Hockey League Hamilton/Brantford Bulldogs GM MATT TUREK GM of American Hockey League affiliate Belleville Senators. The Senators also named former NHLer SAM GAGNER Dir/Player Development (Senators).

Bowling Green named ANGIE HULL Deputy AD & Senior Woman Administrator. Hull most recently held the same roles at the Univ. of Delaware. The school also named DAVID CUTRI Senior Associate AD/Financial Strategy. Cutri had a 16-year tenure at Toledo, where he served as the school’s Chief Audit Exec and Chief Compliance Officer. Senior Associate AD/Internal Affairs JIM ELSASSER announced his retirement that will be effective June 30. Elsasser began his career in 1995 with BGSU (BOWLING GREEN).

Butler women’s basketball named FALECIA PORTER as the program’s GM & Dir/Player Development. Porter joins after working with the WNBA Connecticut Sun as Dir/Team Development and Organizational Growth and as the CEO and co-owner of Progression Training LLC (Butler).

Blueprint Sports named PARKER FLEMING Head of Analytics. Fleming spent the last two years with SumerSports as a data scientist (Blueprint Sports).

NFL Dir/Football Communications AVIS ROPER announced via LinkedIn the launch of his agency, Sports Bridge Consultant Agency. Roper has held his position at the league office since 2022. Throughout his career, he has served with Fox Sports, the Colts, Giants, Knicks, Nets, Rams, and Carolina Panthers (SBJ).
