Golf course owner ClubCorp rebrands to Invited

Dallas-based country club and golf course owner ClubCorp's name "is no more," as the company has been rebranded as Invited. The new name "highlights an emphasis on hospitality and reflects the company’s push to be more inclusive to a younger, more diverse array of Americans." The rebrand will "roll out across its lines of business in the coming months." The new branding "will also be front and center this weekend" at the ClubCorp Classic in Las Colinas, Texas, the PGA Tour Champions event which "will be renamed the Invited Classic next year." The company "owns and operates 161 golf and country clubs and 1,000 tennis and pickleball courts nationwide." It also has "seven clubs located within prominent college football stadiums" (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 4/22).
