The Vikings beat the Saints 28-25 in front of 60,639 fans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the first of three NFL matchups to be played in London this season (TWITTER.com, 10/2). Saints fans "turned a pep rally into a vintage New Orleans-style block party.” It is “unclear how many Saints fans made the trip to London," but they appeared to "vastly outnumber their counterparts from Minnesota.” It was “impossible to stroll along the Thames River and not see fans in Saints gear and fleur-de-lis hats” (New Orleans ADVOCATE, 10/1).
