Proto Hologram hits the WrestleMania stage
The WrestleMania walkout of Tiffany Stratton on Saturday night was boosted by a pair of 3D digital projections of the current WWE Women’s Champion.
Stratton’s intro for her match against Charlotte Flair featured two Proto Hologram devices with pre-recorded clips of Stratton in different outfits. The wrestler was flanked on the stage by the Proto Epics, with Stratton also encased in a similar-looking box for a “which-is-which” setup.
The activation, paired with the pink-heavy backdrop, gave an illusion of a Barbie stepping out of its box. WWE and Mattel announced a multi-year licensing extension just last week, a relationship that dates back to 2010.

Titans to get 77,000 sq ft of LED displays from Daktronics
Daktronics is building and installing a 37-display system totaling more than 77,000 square feet at the Titans’ new Nissan Stadium, which opens in 2027, SBJ’s Bret McCormick reports. That square footage total will be top-three in the NFL. Daktronics also becomes the Official Large Display Partner for the new venue.
Recently departed Daktronics CEO Reece Kurtenbach referenced an unnamed NFL project -- the Titans’ -- as a big win during his final investors call in March. A display circling the entire upper bowl of the $2.1B stadium, called the “Ring of Fire,” will be a first of its kind, measuring 13 feet high and 2,275 feet wide with 10mm pixel spacing for crisp images.

AWRE Sports becomes official provider for two summer leagues
AWRE Sports has been named the official camera and streaming provider for the MLB Draft League and Appalachian League. The multi-year agreement will put AI-powered camera systems in all six MLB Draft League stadiums while streaming the entire season’s slate of games for the two collegiate summer leagues.
The startup, which supports more than 400 college programs and venues, boosts the tracking and clipping of practice and game activity. Last year, AWRE Sports announced partnerships with GoRout, Sportradar’s Synergy Sports and 6-4-3 Charts to enhance its compatibility around the diamond sport ecosystem.
