FanDuel has signed a multi-year deal to become an official betting operator of the PGA Tour. FanDuel is now the third sportsbook to partner with the PGA Tour, following deals signed by DraftKings and BetMGM in August.
The new deal will see FanDuel supply odds-based content to the PGA Tour’s website and PGA Tour app. Additionally, FanDuel will create pregame and postgame betting programming for PGA Tour events. Users placing golf bets on FanDuel will also be sent PGA Tour highlights inside FanDuel’s app.
FanDuel’s mobile sportsbook is currently available in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois and Colorado. According to FanDuel, users in New Jersey have already placed more money on golf-related bets this year compared to New Jersey’s total golf handle on FanDuel in 2019, despite PGA Tour events being suspended for 13 weeks due to the coronavirus shutdown.
