The ATP’s 'Tennis Data Innovations' Makes Ex-Sportradar Exec David Lampitt Its Inaugural CEO

Tennis Data Innovations, a joint venture of the A TP   and ATP Media, named former   Sportradar   and English soccer executive David Lampitt as its first CEO.  

Tennis Data Innovations   was created by the A ssociation of Tennis Professionals (ATP)   and its media subsidiary in   late 2020 to manage the data rights for ATP Tour and ATP Challenger Tour matches ,   along with   some of their digital streaming rights. Among the enumerated goals of TDI is the commercial performance of tennis data for betting and performance analysis, as well as work on integrity and compliance matters.  

Lampitt most recently was   Sportadar’s   managing director of sports content and partnerships. An accountant by trade who began his professional career at Ernst and Young, he previously was CEO of Portsmouth Football Club and head of financial regulation at the English Football Association.
