Students at USF’s Vinik Sport & Entertainment Management Program are fortunate to have Harrolle and Wells directing instruction, leading research and developing pathways into the sports business. Harrolle teaches courses in marketing, sales and fundraising in sport and entertainment and has spent the past nine years at USF dedicated to 100% student residency/fellowship/job placement. She has conducted consumer behavior and economic impact studies for the Baltimore Ravens, 1Huddle, Tampa Bay Lightning, Valspar Championship, Feld Entertainment, WTA and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, among others. Wells’ experiences in sports and entertainment inspired her research in leadership, career development and gender equity. In 2020, she led USF’s Muma College of Business DEI efforts and was a content creator and instructor of USF’s DEI in the Workplace Certificate. Wells is a founding research fellow of Wasserman’s The Collective think tank, an initiative partnering scholars, brands, properties, and media to share insights around women’s sports.
