The Sports Broadcasting HOF named its Class of 2023 which will be inducted in a ceremony on Dec. 12 at the N.Y. Hilton. Honorees include Big East Commissioner VAL ACKERMAN, former CBS Sports producer LANCE BARROW, NBC analyst CRIS COLLINSWORTH, super-slo-mo camera inventor TOM FLETCHER, former NBA EVP/Media Operations & Technology STEVE HELLMUTH, NBA on TNT studio host ERNIE JOHNSON, NBC Sports lead reporter ANDREA JOYCE, Big Ten Commissioner TONY PETITTI, and longtime camera operator JEFF ZACHARY (Sports Broadcasting HOF)....The Arizona Cardinals yesterday hosted members of Gigi's Playhouse, a nonprofit organization that “works with and supports young people with Down syndrome and their families,” at training camp. The group got to "meet with, take photos and get autographs from a group of Cardinals players" at the end of yesterday's practice (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 7/31).
