In St. Louis, Dan Caesar notes Bally Sports Midwest Blues analyst Jamie Rivers will “replace” Darren Pang, who early this summer “took an offer to move to” the Blackhawks’ TV team. Rivers has been “in the rotation of BSM’s Blues studio analysts for nearly a decade” and had “27 such appearances last season.” He also “filled in on games over the previous two years when Pang was moonlighting with national broadcasting assignments on TNT -- 12 times last season” ( ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 8/16 ).

GET THIS ON FILM : AXIOS’ Ashley Mahoney reported a documentary is “being made” about the UNC Charlotte football team. The documentary, called “Mining for Greatness”, will “air this football season.” Episodes, of which there will be “at least 12,” will be “available weekly on ESPN+.” The exact air date for the series is still to be determined, but the first episode will “drop the first week of September.” Coach Biff Poggi “brought the idea” of the documentary to AD Mike Hill “months ago” ( AXIOS, 8/15 ).
