The Big 12 baseball championship is "staying at Globe Life Field," as the conference has extended its agreement for the home of the Texas Rangers to host the championship "through the 2028 season." With the extension, the Big 12 "remains the only conference to host its league championship in an MLB stadium." Globe Life Field has hosted the Big 12 conference championship since 2022, and the city of Arlington has "played host to the tournament four times total." Next year’s conference tournament is set for May 21-25, and ticket information "will become available early next year" (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 10/19).
