Warriors assistant dies, game in Utah postponed

Warriors assistant coach Dejan Milojevic died today at 46 after "suffering a medical emergency during a team dinner" last night. Several hours before the Warriors confirmed Milojevic's passing, the NBA postponed the team's game against the Jazz, scheduled for tonight at Delta Center, due to "a medical emergency in the Warriors family." The team spokesperson described the team’s mood after Milojevic’s medical emergency as "shaken." Players and coaches "spent much of Tuesday night and Wednesday morning at the hospital," and a team spokesman said the team "will fly back later Wednesday" to S.F., where it is scheduled to play the Mavericks on Friday night (S.F. CHRONICLE, 1/17).
