Blue Jays' Guerrero lands MLB The Show 24 cover

MLB

Blue Jays 1B Vladimir Guerrero Jr. today was revealed as the MLB The Show 24 cover athlete. He joins the "long line of superstars to be featured on the front of MLB's flagship video game," including Dodgers P/DH Shohei Ohtani, Yankees RF Aaron Judge, Phillies RF Bryce Harper and last year's cover athlete Marlins CF Jazz Chisholm Jr. MLB The Show traveled to Guerrero's hometown in the Dominican Republic in December to "film a special documentary in honor of him being named to the 2024 cover athlete." He "follows in the footsteps" of his father, Baseball HOFer Vladimir Guerrero, who was on the cover of MLB 2006, the "final edition of the video game before it became 'The Show.'" MLB The Show 24 launches on March 19 (MLB.com, 1/30).
