Houston Dash unveil two new kits for 2024 season

Houston Dash

The Houston Dash unveiled two uniforms they'll wear this season, including a "Space City Blue Kit", featuring the color that "has been a hot topic in the city" in recent months. The Dash say the blue kit "pays tribute to the city's dual legacy in sports and space innovation." The Dash also will wear a "vibrant orange kit with the team's quasar design" celebrating the franchise's 10th anniversary. The jerseys, produced by Nike, feature the Univ. of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center name across the front for the fifth straight year, along with the Magellan Corporation's logo on the right sleeve and the Ally logo on the left sleeve. This isn't the first time the Dash have "dipped into nostalgia" for uniforms -- in 2020, the team had white jerseys with a thick blue band across the chest that it called its "Luv Ya Dash" kits (HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 2/27).
