Ex-Cavs CEO, group buying Frontier League club

A Northeast Ohio investor group co-led by former Cavaliers CEO Len Komoroski has agreed to acquire the Frontier League Lake Erie Crushers. The league has "approved the transfer of ownership" from Tom and Jacqueline Kramig, who owned the team since 2015. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The investor group also is led by Howley Foudation Chair Nick Howley, who is slated to become Vice Chair of the Crushers. Other investors include current Cavaliers CEO Nic Barlage, former Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Co. President of Operations Mike Levy, former Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment EVP/Global Sales Vic Gregovits, and Howley's son and Bratenahl Capital Partners founder & managing partner Mike Howley. Gregovits also will become team President, "overseeing the organization's business and baseball areas" (CLEVELAND BUSINESS JOURNAL, 3/7).
