Cleveland is set to host WWE's SummerSlam on August 3 at Cleveland Browns Stadium, marking the first time the event will be held in Cleveland since Aug. 1996. The city will host a variety of fan and community events surrounding SummerSlam, including Friday Night SmackDown at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Aug. 2. SummerSlam in Cleveland will follow last year’s event at Ford Field in Detroit which set a new gate record for any non-WrestleMania with $8.5M, a mark that was surpassed by the 2024 Royal Rumble in Jan. The Detroit event also was the most-watched SummerSlam in company history (WWE).
