Valencia's Copa del Rey match against Parla Escuela has been "postponed after the devastating flash floods in Spain" that saw "more than a year's worth of rain in eight hours" fall in the town of Chiva, near Valencia. At least "62 people have died" from the rain. The match has been rescheduled to Nov. 6, and will be played at the same venue (BBC, 10/30).

Wrexham FC have "landed new investment" from the Allyn family, a billionaire New York Family, as co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney try to "fund the club's rise through English football." The family invested an "undisclosed sum through Red Dragon Ventures LLC, a joint venture with Reynolds and McElhenney" (London TELEGRAPH, 10/30).
