Helio Castroneves will attempt to qualify Trackhouse Racing’s Project 91 car at the Daytona 500, but team owner Justin Marks said that he is "uncertain if the car will run again this year," according to Dustin Long of the NBCSPORTS.com. Marks cited his "team’s focus on its expanded three-car operation" in the Cup Series for drivers Ross Chastain, Daniel Suarez and Shane van Gisbergen. Marks: “It comes down to resources, people, bandwidth and we have to take a real look at workflow."The Project 91 car did not race at all in 2024, and Marks indicated that the project "won’t go away." Should the car run again this year, Marks said that it "likely would be at a road course" (NBCSPORTS.com, 1/7).
