In Tampa, Marc Topkin noted the Rays announced “a limited number” of standing room only tickets will be sold for $20 for all 81 home games at Steinbrenner Field this season. There will be “a minimum of 100 available per game,” and “more for most.” The standing room only areas are beyond the outfield wall in left field and right-center. The tickets “will be released prior” to each home series. Topkin noted the Rays are “still determining the final seating capacity for regular-season games.” The Yankees, who use the stadium for spring and minor-league games, “list 11,026” (TAMPA BAY TIMES, 2/24).
