U.S. Soccer’s annual National Council Meeting will take place on Saturday in Atlanta to approve a budget for fiscal year 2026 (April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026) that “will represent an increase of more than 50 percent in revenues and expenses from 2024,” the last year for which a final accounting is available, according to Paul Kennedy of SOCCER AMERICA. The “big drivers” over the last two years have been “huge increases in individual donations and commercial revenues” to the organization. Kennedy noted since the federation’s sponsorships have been moved in-house, they have increased from $97M (2024 actual) to $112M (2025 projected) to $141M (2026 budget). Below are U.S. Soccer’s figures for FY 2024 through FY 2026:

  • FY24 (actual): Operating Revenues: $192.19M; Operating Expenses: $190.91M
  • FY25 (projected): Operating Revenues: $270.55M ; Operating Expenses: $259.85M
  • FY26 (budget): Operating Revenues: $294.01M; Operating Expenses: $293.26M (SOCCER AMERICA, 2/26).
