Sales of personal seat licenses at the Bills' new Highmark Stadium are “picking up” as the sales effort “shifts away” from the most expensive season tickets, according to Michael Petro of the BUFFALO NEWS. The team had “its largest number of sales in a quarter so far,” because it is the first of three quarters of sales in which the Bills are selling “more-affordable PSLs to season ticket holders in general admission, or reserved seating.” As of Dec. 31, the Bills have sold 11,093 PSLs, now a “required purchase for all season ticket holders just to buy tickets,” and “over half” of those sales were made from Oct.1-Dec. 31. Petro reported PSL sales have totaled $129M for the Bills through Dec. 31, including $36M during the latest quarter. As the Bills continue to sell season tickets in general admission lower deck sections, the seat licenses required for season ticket holders to buy tickets at the new stadium are “coming down in cost,” with the current price point now as low as $2,500. Bills EVP & COO Pete Guelli indicated that the franchise has “sold out their club seat inventory” and have now “sold over half of their inventory in the lower level, which aligns with the team’s expected timing” (BUFFALO NEWS, 3/5).
