The Winnipeg Jets sold out single-game tickets for the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs in “mere minutes,” according to Paul Friesen of the WINNIPEG SUN. It marks the third straight season the Jets have sold out all their first-round home games. A limited number of tickets are “set aside for those who commit to season tickets for next season.” Another limited number set aside for the NHL will be “made available before each home game, to be released right up until the opening faceoff.” The Jets sold out their previous six regular-season games before Sunday’s game against the Oilers, and they will play their final game against the Ducks on Wednesday. Tickets for the whiteout street parties downtown go on sale tomorrow at noon (WINNIPEG SUN, 4/12).
