Diamond Baseball Holdings has acquired the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the Brewers’ High-A affiliate.

DBH has ownership of 43 minor-league teams in its portfolio. This is the first Brewers’ affiliate to be owned by DBH, which has affiliates from 22 different major-league teams.

The acquisition also includes DBH purchasing Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. It is just the second stadium owned by DBH, joining Truist Field, home of the Charlotte Knights (Triple-A White Sox). The rest are leased.

Fox Cities Stadium, which seats 5,900, underwent a $10M renovation in 2023. It included better player amenities, an expanded concourse and a three-story slide in left field (similar to that at American Family Field) that is available to fans during games. The Rattlers just had their highest opening weekend crowd in franchise history this season (9,341).

Purchase prices on the franchise and ballpark were not disclosed. DBH acquired the Timber Rattlers from Third Base Ventures. The team’s existing front office staff will remain in place, led by President & CEO Rob Zerjav.
