The Valkyries, who begin their inaugural season on Friday with a home game against the Sparks, have announced several founding partners ahead of the campaign.
STAYING WELL: The Valkyries and OLLY, an S.F. based leading wellness and supplement brand, announced on Friday a multi-year partnership making OLLY a founding partner of the Valkyries. As part of this partnership, OLLY becomes the Official Health & Wellness Partner of the team. The partnership will create multiple wellness-focused touchpoints for fans throughout the Valkyries’ inaugural season (Valkyries).
GOLDEN IMPACT: The Valkyries and Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) have announced a multi-year partnership that establishes PG&E as a founding partner of the Valkyries. The PG&E Corporation Foundation (PG&E Foundation) has committed a $500 donation for every free throw made by the team this season to be granted to select local community programs that enhance educational equity in the region. The partnership will unveil two community programs: “Free Throws for Futures,” and “Power Forward.” Additional community-focused programs will be unveiled during the season (Valkyries).
VALKYRIE ROAD: The Valkyries also announced a multi-year partnership with Waymo, making the organization a founding partner and the official autonomous ride-hailing partner of the franchise. To tip off the partnership, Waymo will showcase a special fleet of autonomous driving vehicles wrapped in the signature Valkyries Violet during the week of the team’s inaugural home opener. The two organizations will collaborate on “Waymo Wednesdays,” a season-long activation providing fans with special Waymo One perks and offers during all Wednesday Valkyries games (Valkyries).
