The Ravens will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their move from Cleveland to Baltimore before today’s game against the Browns. The Ravens will “recognize the key players involved in bringing the Browns to Baltimore as honorary captains” -- former Maryland Stadium Authority Exec Dir John Moag, former Maryland Gov. Parris Glendening, former Baltimore Mayor Kurt Schmoke and Browns owner John Modell, who will represent the Modell family. There will be “pregame recognitions celebrating the Browns’ move to Baltimore, and a halftime show featuring many Ravens Legends, a Marching Ravens performance and a dramatic mixed-reality show on the RavensVision video boards.” All fans attending the game will “receive a Ravens Forevermore 30th season flag.” The Ravens will also honor the members of the 1975 Baltimore Colts to “celebrate the 50th anniversary of their first of three consecutive AFC East titles.” The Ravens said that they “had the gala planned before the schedule came out” (Cleveland PLAIN DEALER, 9/13).
