Heat sued for alleged contract breach by local company

Miami-based canned water company NDO BEV LLC has sued the Heat and a competitor for “alleged breach of contract.” The complaint, filed Oct. 17 in Miami-Dade Circuit Court, accuses two Heat affiliates, Miami Heat Limited Partnership and Basketball Properties Ltd, of “breaching an exclusivity agreement.” NDO also alleged that a competitor, Air Water Ventures Ltd., “interfered with its contract.” NDO is “seeking unspecified compensatory damages.” Miami-based AXS Law Group founding partner Jeff Gutchess serves as NDO’s lead attorney in the case. Miami-based Damian Valori Culmo managing partner Peter Valori and partner Allison Leonard serve as lead attorneys for Miami Heat Limited Partnership and Basketball Properties Ltd (SOUTH FLORIDA BUSINESS JOURNAL, 11/3).
