Two days before a “major team announcement” at the Museum of Pop Culture, which is “widely expected” to be the unveiling of the expansion team’s name and logo, Emerald City Hockey “caught what appears to be the new name and logo.” The pages “were up briefly” before they were switched back to the PWHL Seattle logo. The logo “was a swishy, watery blue ‘S.’” The PWHL favors singular names, so the “Torrent would fit right in” (SEATTLE TIMES, 11/4).
