Hot Stove Cool Music hosts virtual concert tonight

The latest Hot Stove Cool Music event comes tonight in a virtual format with a pre-recorded concert, headlined by guest stars Eddie Vedder and Yo-Yo Ma. Other appearances: Juliana Hatfield, Bill Janovitz and Celtics exec Wyc Grousbeck with his band French Lick. Tickets are available at ftbnl.org, starting at a $10 donation, with all proceeds benefitting Theo and Paul Epstein’s Foundation To Be Named Later (THE DAILY). To date, the foundation has raised $13.5M for several nonprofit community groups. After Theo Epstein left Boston for Chicago in '11, Hot Stove "began hosting a second event each June." Last year's Chicago fundraiser was its first in a "virtual setting" (BOSTON GLOBE, 5/11).
