LSU and Florida will face off in Game 3 of the men's College World Series final tonight to determine who will take home the championship. It is the "third time in six years" that two SEC schools will play for the MCWS championship, and for the "eighth time in the last 15 years, the SEC will own the national title." But while some local fans are "tired of the SEC taking over the CWS," the SEC is "good for college baseball." And that means it is "very good for Omaha." The CWS downtown has had "transformational atmospheres the last two seasons, thanks to Mississippi State and Ole Miss fans." The SEC fans bring an "infusion of energy that make the event like Mardi Gras with bleachers" (OMAHA WORLD-HERALD, 6/23).
