Post-match TV interviews with EPL managers will "return indoors, with the change expected to be brought in for this weekend." Tottenham head coach Nuno Espírito Santo was "forced to delay his pitchside post-match interview with Sky Sports on Sunday" due to abuse from Arsenal fan's inside the Emirates Stadium. Interviews have been "held on the edge of the pitch" since the sport returned during the COVID-19 pandemic but several have been disrupted by fans. The EPL has told clubs it plans to allow the main broadcaster to "use an inside interview room instead." A source with knowledge of the EPL’s plan said, "It is a case of trying to balance the safety of the red zone but also trying to maintain the broadcast quality of the interview" (LONDON TIMES, 9/28).
