Chinese Dota 2 joint effort Paris Saint-Germain LGD Gaming announced on Friday that it signed a sponsorship deal with leading Chinese video and livestreaming platform Bilibili. The Bilibili logo will be featured on the right chest of the PSG.LGD team jerseys, above PSG’s Jordan logo.
In addition, three Chinese PSG.LGD players -- Zhang “Faith_bian” Ruida, Zhao “XinQ” Zixing, and Zhang “y” Yiping -- will open streaming channels at Bilibili. PSG.LGD’s iconic Dota 2 star, Wang “Ame” Chunyu, was not included, but it’s more likely he will join his teammates and stream at Bilibili. Chunyu is not only the most-recognized Chinese Dota 2 player, but he is also China’s most successful esports player. He’s earned the most prize money based on published information, winning over $3.77 million and ranked No. 17 in the world, according to Esports Earnings. (Ruida and Yiping are ranked 19th and 20th.) Financial terms and the length of the deal were not disclosed.
