Miami federal Judge MARCIA COOKE "has greenlighted" Giants DE JASON PIERRE-PAUL 's invasion of privacy lawsuit against ESPN and reporter  ADAM SCHEFTER "for posting his private medical records online to millions of readers." Pierre-Paul claims Schefter improperly obtained a medical chart in July '15. showing he "had his right index finger amputated, and posted an image of the records on his Twitter page" ( N.Y. POST, 8/26 ).

PAYING UP : Apollo Global Management, the $186B-asset private-equity firm whose bosses include 76ers Managing Owner JOSH HARRIS , "has agreed to pay" $53M to settle SEC complaints that the firm "reduced returns available to its clients, including the Pennsylvania state pension fund (SERS), by inadequately disclosing fees it collected from companies it bought with their cash before selling them or taking them public" ( PHILLY.com, 8/25 ). 

COMING TO A THEATER NEAR YOU : The rise of DFS via sites like FanDuel and DraftKings is "being developed as a major studio film." TriStar Pictures optioned movie rights for an upcoming book, " THE BIG GAME ," described as "' THE BIG SHORT' in the world of daily fantasy sports." The book "will go through Houghton-Mifflin next year and is expected to be the definitive look at the scandal that rocked sports fans across the nation." It will be authored by SI's ALBERT CHEN . The film will focus on the "high-stakes world, its colorful cast of characters and how this cult obsession" became a national pastime ( DEADLINE.com, 8/25 ). 

SUNDAY FUNDAY : Tennis player CAROLINE WOZNIACKI  is profiled in the N.Y. TIMES' "Sunday Routine" feature, noting Sundays are "usually my day off." Wozniacki: "I’m able to sleep in, so I’ll probably wake up around 9:30, have some cereal, maybe a bagel, go to the couch, watch some TV. I love to watch ' PROPERTY BROTHERS .'" She said she also has a "big passion for fashion" and has her "own tennis collection with Adidas and Stella McCartney." Wozniacki: "When I have time to reflect, I’ll draw something. SPEAK EASY : Former college football coach  LOU HOLTZ  is “out as the guest speaker at the Cathedral High School 90th anniversary gala in October." School officials announced last week that Holtz would be the “featured speaker, sparking mixed and passionate reactions because of comments” Holtz made about immigration in July at the RNC. Holtz endorsed Republican presidential nominee  DONALD TRUMP  and “described immigration as an ‘invasion’" ( EL PASO TIMES, 8/25 ).
