EXECS : In Ft. Lauderdale, Ira Winderman cites sources as saying that Heat CRO JEFF DAVID is "no longer" with the team after being placed on leave "amid an FBI investigation into a suspected money-laundering scheme while in a similar role" with the NBA Kings. David reportedly is "suspected of siphoning off" $13.4M from "two of the team’s top sponsors and using the funds to purchase beachfront property in Southern California." That status has "since been changed, with the Heat declining further comment."
