Las Vegas Bowl Exec Dir John Saccenti said that there are "too many unanswered questions about the bowl game at the new Raiders stadium to extend" Mitsubishi Motors' title sponsor deal right now, according to Alan Snel of LVSPORTSBIZ.com. Mitsubishi would "like to extend its two-year title sponsorship deal" and "continue the business relationship" into '20 when the game moves to the new venue. Mitsubishi "typically doesn’t sponsor college football," but the brand "plans to bring in 600 car dealers, customers and workers for a meeting" on the Friday before the Dec. 15 game. Saccenti added that Mitsubishi's activation of the title sponsorship is "turning out to be popular at its dealerships" ( LVSPORTSBIZ.com, 10/30 ).
