FAU Lands 10-Year Naming Rights Deal For Hoops Arena

FAU's athletic department "received an early holiday present" in the form of a $5M sponsorship deal to rename the school's basketball arena, according to Jake Elman of the PALM BEACH POST. FAU Arena will now be "known as the RoofClaim.com Arena" after the school "struck a 10-year agreement with RoofClaim.com for the naming rights." FAU previously agreed to naming rights for the court in June after a $3M donation by the Rocco & Mary Abessinio Foundation. Elman noted FAU is "currently in the process of adding a new video board" to the arena. FAU AD Brian White said that he "expected the video board to be in place by the start of league play" ( PALM BEACH POST, 12/21 ).
