Goldfish teams with Boban Marjanovic, Tobias Harris for new campaign

Pepperidge Farm’s Goldfish Crackers brand is "breaking its own marketing mold by aiming at adult audiences in its newest campaign," the #GoForTheHandful Challenge, featuring Mavericks C Boban Marjanovic, according to Sara Century of ADWEEK. The effort is "mainly designed to take place on TikTok." Marjanovic, who has the NBA’s “largest set of hands,” became the "natural choice for the face of the campaign, which also features fellow all-star basketball player and best friend" 76ers F Tobias Harris. In a series of videos, Marjanovic and Harris "reunite to test their snacking prowess." Aside from their "genuine rapport," there also is the "humorous reveal of the supersized Boban Bag -- a gargantuan sack of Pepperidge Farm’s Goldfish Crackers -- against the original-sized snack bag (or the 'Tobi Bag,' according to Marjanovic)." TikTok users will be "hard-pressed to beat Marjanovic’s record of holding 301 Goldfish in a single palm," but the campaign "encourages customers to get creative" (ADWEEK.com, 4/7).
