Former U.S. Olympic pairs bronze medalist and figure skating coach PETER OPPEGARD was suspended by the U.S. Center for SafeSport yesterday after an "investigation of allegations of physical abuse." Oppegard's suspension is for one month, and in addition to that, he must “undergo ‘education’ and ‘probation’ for an unspecified length of time.” Oppegard allegedly “bit a teenage female skater on the arm” during a ’13 training session, according to the skater.
