The Jaguars this morning released the first look at their planned renovation of TIAA Bank Stadium through a video posted on social media and a dedicated website, according to the FLORIDA TIMES-UNION. The dubbed “Stadium of the Future” includes a “main concourse elevated 30 feet off the ground, offering views of downtown, the riverfront and more.” It will be an “open-air venue with a shade canopy that reduces heat retention, lowers temperatures and protects from inclement weather.” Capacity will be 62,000, though it can expand to 71,500 seats “for college football games, like the Florida-Georgia game” (FLORIDA TIMES-UNION, 6/7).
