Oregon BOT approves new Ducks indoor practice facility

The indoor practice facility is expected to be completed in 2025 Univ. of Oregon

The Univ. of Oregon BOT has approved the “construction for the Oregon Ducks’ new indoor football practice facility,” according to James Crepea of the Portland OREGONIAN. The BOT approved a proposal to “lease or license portions of the Hatfield-Dowlin Complex as well as property to be acquired from the city of Eugene to Phit Too, LLC,” an entity of the University of Oregon Foundation. The indoor practice facility, which is “donor funded, is expected to be completed in 2025, a year after originally anticipated due to delays” as the university “continues to negotiate a land swap with the city of Eugene” (Portland OREGONIAN, 6/6).
