Reigning NASCAR champion Joey Logano and a Davidson, NC developer last night received the town of Huntersville’s backing for a $255M “mixed-use development that they say will create 850 permanent jobs,” according to Joe Marusak of the CHARLOTTE OBSERVER. The plans by Logano and Treenail Development reveal that the Lake Norman-area project, called Town 1 Mixed Use Center, will “include 747 multi-family homes, a seven-story office building, seven-story parking deck and three two-story commercial buildings.” The Huntersville Board of Commissioners “approved a rezoning for the project in a 6-1 vote.” Logano’s Catawba Property Investments LLC is the “legal owner of his land holdings at the site.”
