The NCAA yesterday launched a video titled “Don’t Be a Loser,” where it addresses betting-related threats against college athletes, especially men’s and women’s basketball players, as part of its ongoing “Draw the Line” campaign.
Go sit behind a bench at one of these conference tournaments and listen to the bettors yell and scream at these kids about their performance. … ‘You need to do better. I’m losing money on you.’ Or the stuff that shows up online … which is way more vicious and brutal than that.
