Pac-12 To Announce Football Teams Taking Part In New Show
The Pac-12 today is expected to announce the football programs that will be involved in the inaugural season of "The Drive," a new reality series on Pac-12 Networks "modeled after HBO's 'Hard Knocks.'" The series will kick off with an hour-long show on Sept. 11 and "continue with half-hour shows every Wednesday" ( ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 8/1 ). The conference describes the show as one that "tells compelling stories while celebrating the student-athletes, coaches and support systems that allow them to excel" ( Pac-12 ).
