Plans in place for Miami's $100M football facility

Plans "are in the works" for the Univ. of Miami to construct a "seven-story, multimillion-dollar football facility," with building plans to be reviewed by City of Coral Gables’ Development Review Committee on Friday. The university is currently looking to build the facility, dubbed the "Football Operations Center and Garage" project, on a roughly two-acre plot of land. Construction is "expected to begin in late 2023 and be completed in mid-2025." The facility and parking garages come with a price tag of $100M and the facility is expected to be a "state-of-the-art" building that "will house both the administrative side of the UM football team and player development components" (MIAMI HERALD, 12/8).
