In the Industry
What drew me to a career in sports: I have always loved sports, both playing and watching. I grew up loving going to hockey games with my dad, and it always bothered me how little recognition the sport got in my area (Northern California). I really wanted to share my love of hockey and grow the game to a wider audience.
Most exciting aspect of sports business: That ideas and activations we work on have such a deep impact on general culture and society.
How my generation is changing sports: Our generation is making sports more accessible to a diverse and new audience of fans, as well as encouraging sports to be a platform to make a change in society, not just serve as a form of entertainment.
