A 10-year veteran with the Bears, Wade spearheads progressive conversations with the goal of increasing seats at the table for people of color and women, and making sure their voices are heard. She participates in the process for every new hire, including serving on the recent search committees for the team’s new president, general manager (both of whom are Black) and head coach. She works with human resources in creating diverse talent pipelines, and started and now leads the club’s internal diversity council. A former student athlete at Oregon State, Wade previously worked for the Iowa Barnstormers and Chicago Rush in the Arena Football League and University of Minnesota athletics.
